The Serenata Hostel presents a new quality standard for Hostels . Let's see the quality of a Hotel with prices of a Hostel! With the beginning of the 20th cycle, the building where the Hostel is was the Bissaya Barreto Maternity Institute and later the Coimbra Conservatory of Music. Meanwhile the building has been totally restored and ready for you! We could not have a better mix: Life and Music !! Meet people from all over the world, taking advantage of our social meals and our pubcrawl. We are located in the heart of Coimbra, in Largo da Sé Vieja (UNESCO world heritage). We are close to all the attractions of the city. Our location allows our guests to walk around the city without using public transport. We are 5 and 10 minutes from the train and bus stations, one minute from the University of Coimbra, a UNESCO world heritage site, and literally next to Coimbra's largest historical attraction, the Cathedral of the Se Vieja. You can wake up, open the window and look at this magnificent monument! We have different types of rooms to choose from: shared dorms, double rooms, Twin and Suites. Our buffet breakfast is served in our dining room. Save money by cooking some tapas in our equipped kitchen. We have a Bar and two common rooms with plasma television, board games and sofas. Take advantage and relax on our terraces that we have, an interior and an exterior.
