Shelter "El Pilar" is a true bike-pilgrim sanctuary, in its superb facilities and with the enthusiastic attention of Isabel and her mother you can feel like at home.

A unique setting and an intimate atmosphere and that you will not forget in a long time.

The shelter is laid out around a large courtyard of a manor house in the area and just crossing the entrance gate you will feel immediately welcome and comfortable as if you were in your own home.

Of course the facility is more than up to what we can ask to keep our bikes and give us a rest.

Shelter "El Pilar" of Rabanal del Camino is also a selling point of the famous bicigrino's cycling gear.

Rabanal del Camino is a great place to stop so we can face early in the morning and with the forces intact the ascension to the top of the Iron Cross.

Surroundings

In Rabanal del Camino you can immerse yourself in a genuine and well-preserved maragato village with its houses emblazoned and cobbled streets. It is without doubt one of the most charming towns from around the way.

You are at the foot of the mountains of Leon and more specifically at the foot of the climb to the legendary IRON CROSS, without a doubt a unique and unrepeatable to a stop on the way.

In the inns of this town you can taste the famous "cocido maragato".
