Facilities

Opened in June 2008. The lodge is built by Unai and Livia, two young men who lost their lives in Madrid to start a new stage in the Way. The Stone Lodge is built on top of a mountain, and save a piece of it inside. Family atmosphere.

Modern facilities and commitment to the road and the bicigrinos of their owners make this place a perfect place to stop before facing O'Cebreiro ramps.

Nearby

Worth stopping in this population as it is one of the last great towns full of history and monuments before andentrarnos in rural Galicia.

The tradition of the Door of Forgiveness in the Romanesque church of Santiago dates back to 1122, when Pope Callistus III granted the temple berciano the privilege of giving the Jubilee pilgrims who, for health reasons, can not reach Santiago de Compostela.

Between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries the door was bricked due to pests and to protect the temple from the attacks, until 1948 when reverting to the custom to mark the celebration of the Year of St James.

Thus, each year in the July 25 match on Sunday, the pilgrims who have traveled at least 150 miles of the pilgrimage route and are unable to continue the journey to the tomb of the apostle can get the Jubilee in the locality .

This is the only temple of the Camino de Santiago, and the Cathedral of Santiago, with this prebend in Jacobean Holy Year.
